About Me
Hello, I'm Tarak, also known as tarakxshots. My photography journey began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although I had dabbled in photography since childhood, it was then that my passion truly ignited.
By the summer of 2023, my casual interest had evolved into a serious pursuit of both photography and videography. I enjoy capturing a variety of subjects and love experimenting to push my creative boundaries. I believe in exploring different styles and genres to continually grow as an artist.
Aside from my passion for photography and videography, I am an IT student at Rutgers University. However, my heart lies in imagery. In my free time, I’m often behind the camera, capturing moments for clients and friends to build a diverse portfolio. I strive to learn something new about photography every day, with the ultimate goal of becoming a renowned filmmaker.

Working with Tarak for our traditional Indian engagement shoot in Jersey City was an absolute pleasure! To begin with, he was flexible in changing our photo shoot date at the last minute when we found out there was going to be a crowded public event at the initial time & location we agreed upon. On the day of our actual shoot, Tarak guided us through the shoot including couple poses & artistic shots for a variety of photos. He was also open to recreating some of the Inspo pics on my mood board. The best part about working with Tarak is that he made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, making our photos feel natural. After the shoot, we were sent a couple of sample shots to confirm whether we liked the editing style and we received our full album shortly after that.
